Similar to a home mortgage, bonds are a secure and fiscally responsible way for cities to finance large capital projects like parks, public safety facilities, and libraries. Avondale’s strong financial management have earned it bond ratings of “AAA” from Fitch Ratings and “AA1” from Moody's Ratings.
